Scale statement reads: "Echelle de Lieues d'Allemagne à 15 par degré." Orientated with north to the left. Borders filled in with graduations of latitude and longitude. Decoration: coasts shaded and outlined in color and three elaborated compass roses with direction lines radiating. Map originally in "Le Neptune Francois, ou, Atlas nouveau des cartes marines"; although this atlas was published by Jaillot in Paris, it was printed in Amsterdam by P. Mortier" and published 1693; Size of the sheet: 62 x 98 cm., printed on thick paper in publishers colours.
